A cartoon work by local artist Chris Palmer depicting a sentient vehicle struggling in our time with the confusion of his surroundings, and the obstacles he must overcome. Compassionate, and in a way all powerful, but massively limited by the knowledge that he will always explode. A new modern day folk hero, an urban Odysseus. Faith Limbrick installation work

The current window display and installation at Technicolour, created By Faith Limbrick, was inspired by the geometric and graphic representations in the clothes and jewellery around the shop and the local architecture. Faith's creations grow and dance across the walls, maybe some kind of creature caught in a moment, suspended in movement, held ready for action and holding energy. The tri colour designs are all elements in an overall 'architecture' that wants to explore space and tell a story. Faith's current work explores colour, form and space, micro and macro and the role the imagination plays in switching between small and large.
